Hello Dan, enjoying your site and podcast. I like your rebuilds and currently have a Stella Decalomania that has loose braces. The finish is original and I’m afraid to take the guitar apart and disturb the original finish, however there are loose braces and the bridge brace (inadequate as you know) needs attention. The action is okay now, but if I fix the bridge brace then the neck reset is probably necessary. Hey I’m listening to the podcast and I’m wondering if you knew a band from Hammond, Indiana called the Blue Angels?? (They were a 50’s -60’s rock band. I have an old Rickenbacker guitar that was played by that band. I’ve had no luck contacting any members of the group. (just curious if you knew them)
